This curry turkey chili recipe is a great comfort food that is still healthy, but has that heavy satisfying feeling in your belly.
Serves 3
Ingredients
1 lb of lean ground turkey
1/2 tsp of garlic salt
1 tsp of olive oil
1 cube of mild, or spicy curry
3 cups of water
2 stalks of celery chopped
3 carrots peeled and cut
2 sweet potato(peeled and cubed)
1 onion (sliced)
1 red pepper (sliced)
Brown or wild rice (can also eat with Quinoa) cooked
Directions
Cook turkey in a little bit of olive oil and add garlic salt.
Drain meat.
In a large pot add turkey meat, all veggies and potatoes( except peppers), your curry cube or powder, and water.
Bring to a boil then low heat and cover.
You can allow your curry to cook for at least 1 1/2 hours.
I like to prep everything early and then just let it cook for 3 hours.
Come home throw in your peppers and allow them to cook for 15 minutes, serve over rice.

Hi Gabby
Going to make the curry turkey chili, but all I have either curry powder or red curry paste. Will either of those work in place of the cubes? Thanks! It sounds great!!
